In the 1990s, we worked together creating the identity and album art for a signed rock band. Since, fate has reunited us often for various projects including book illustrations, animated comics, product packaging, fashion, and creating logos and identities for inspiring concepts. We founded Catapult in 2023, to continue crafting beauty together.

My journey into brand building and design began in 1980, where my focus started in the entertainment industry—crafting names, album covers, and posters designed to leave a lasting impression. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of industries, from small family-owned businesses to publicly traded global brands. Each project has deepened my understanding of both the art and the heart behind creating a strong identity.

Throughout a long career, you learn much about the people you collaborate with, the creative process, and most importantly, what drives you to deliver your best work. Dan and I founded Catapult out of a shared passion for working with founder-led brands, where the business is deeply personal, and customers are genuinely valued. We thrive on helping founders realize their vision with the same dedication and care they bring to their businesses. These intimate, hands-on projects allow us to create more than just designs—we create experiences that not only elevate brands but also bring a sense of joy to our clients.

On a personal note, I’m originally from New York City but now call Tucson home, where I live with my wife of 41 years. Together, we’ve raised four amazing adult children who remind us, with every visit, that the role of a parent never truly ends, no matter how grown they become.

My creative journey began at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where formal training merged with the raw energy of downtown Manhattan's art scene. Those early years, including solo exhibitions, shaped my understanding of how art transforms spaces and perspectives, while exploring the boundaries between commercial and fine art.

Throughout my career, I've moved fluidly between artistic mediums and commercial applications, from crafting album covers and gig posters to developing the animated series "Animal Pharm" and pioneering digital art through the MetaShredders NFT collection for a Miami based Blockchain company.

My focus on retail brand development proved transformative, working with iconic brands like Marvel, Pixar, and Harley Davidson, and in collaboration with major retailers including Walmart, Target, and Macy's, all these experiences reinforced my belief that great design must serve both artistic integrity and business objectives.

Marc and I founded Catapult with a shared vision: to bring this depth of experience to founder-led brands that value authentic connections.
Whether through brand development, package design, or strategic visual content, I continue to explore new creative frontiers while bringing strategic design thinking to every project—transforming not just how brands look, but how they connect with their audiences.
